CLASSROOM WEBS CURRICULUM AND ONLINE ACTIVITIES SPECIAL INTEREST

Ada López-Isa's Educational Web - This is a bilingual (English/Spanish) educational website. The purpose of this site is to help students, parents and teachers find a safe place on the Internet to practice skills learned in school.

The Coley Chronicle - promotes parent-student-teacher communication,provide information to improve student writing, and publishes student artwork.

Fort Irwin Middle School - Ft. Irwin Middle School has been recognized as a California Distinguished School. Ft. Irwin Middle School is a unique school with two schools in one: upper elementary and middle school. Our students are military dependents who have been in many schools throughout their educational careers.

Mr. F's Resource Web - an eclectic collection of educational resources.

Mr. Leahy's Class - This site displays eight years of student work including projects such as: vocabulary cartoons, hinky pinkies, Oregon Trail Guidebook, MadLibs, and alphabet riddles.
Mr. Leahy is inspired to display great student work for the world to see. "Students begin to realize that the audience they are writing for is much broader than just their friends, teacher, and parents."

Mr. Stafford's Life Science Website - This site contains information about the 8th Grade Life Science Class at Chehalis Middle School in Chehalis Washington. Students and Parents can download most assignments, access the entire textbook, and check grades on a weekly basis.

Mrs. Avery's Brave Pages - This site is a collection of links. These sites contain information that you can use at home to help your child. Topics include education news, homework help, math, language arts, science, social studies, testing, resources for parents, and websites for students. There is an emphasis on grades 3-5. However, you can still find plenty of K-2 resources. Most of the links are to well known, established sites.

Mrs. Healy's Class.com - created so parents could really be able to see what was going on in their child's first grade experience.

Ms. Glew's Autistic Support - This website, like it's classroom, is a highly structured setting dedicated to supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Ms. Powells Ideas for Teachers - a great resource for elementary educators. While searching the web for other teacher's websites, and before the school year began, Powell had incorporated ideas from classrooms all over the world.

Orefield Middle School
- A site designed to keep parents, students, and teachers current with news, events, and information about Orefield Middle School. Easy to navigate and full of valuable information.

Priory Woods School - Priory Woods is an all age community special school situated in east Middlesbrough. The school caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and those with profound and multiple needs.

The Saskatoon Catholic Cyber School is an online school providing services to the students of Saskatchewan. Since it's inception in 2000, it has grown into the largest online school in Saskatchewan.

The Best Second Grade
- Second Grade website for parents and students designed to inform parents of classroom activities and to motivate students to learn while having fun. This site does an outstanding job of involving students and parents in the learning process.

Mrs. Walley's First Grade News
- This site is to help keep parents informed of daily happenings in the classroom and to be used as a learning tool for students.

Mrs. Atkinson's Reading Room - A wonderful resource for kids, parents, and teachers. Loaded with educational games for kids in grades K-6. Extensive links for parents and teachers. Some of the topics: 4 Blocks, Guided Reading, ESL, Management, Lesson Plans, and much more!
