Schindler's List will always be a valuable teaching tool on
the horrors of the Holocaust. Unfortunately, because it carries an "R" rating, many students (strictly secondary) will not have the opportunity to view it as part of a unit on
this great tragedy. I was blessed to present the movie to a group of gifted and talented students (with parental permission) who remarked that it was probably the most important lesson they learned in high school. That was before it was placed on a list preventing it's showing in the classroom.

These tools are great for parents and teachers who value the idea of ensuring your video entertainment is age appropriate:

With Family Safe Media - you can control the content of movies in your own home by filtering both profanity and offensive scenes while you watch, without modifying the DVD.

Join Family Safe Movies and rent a Hollywood release that has been edited specifically for family viewing.
