Our Greatest Fear is not that We Are Inadequate,
but that We Are
Powerful Beyond Measure...

I have been in your shoes. High school was a difficult time for me. I felt uncomfortable around others; I got teased for getting good grades and wearing braces and homemade clothes. I followed an older brother who was a real genius...where did I belong? Looking back on all of that, it's easy for me to say that it will get better. But, if you believe in yourself and know that everything will all fall into place...it will make this time one to be enjoyed. And you should - because it may be the last time in your life you won't be faced with the daily grind of working to make a living. Take this time to find your own voice...learn what God has planned for your life and all the little things really won't matter.

~Mrs. B

The headline is my favorite quote. Though it was thought to be used in Nelson Mandela's Inaugural Speech in 1994 when he ascended to the Presidency of South Africa after having served decades in prison, it was originally written by Marianne Williamson in her book Return to Love, Harper Collins, 1992.
